Rachael Young

Teacher

I'm Rachael, and I'm a teacher here at Gather the Prophets. I'm also a teacher by qualification, having taught English, Music, and Media in schools and educational settings for over 10 years.

I am passionate about the Lord and love that His heart is to be in relationship with us - and what's a relationship without talking? My heart is for each of us to learn how to have conversations with the Lord, to listen to Him, not just talk at Him.

Simon Young

Groups Moderator

I'm Simon, and I'm an NHS healthcare professional working in CAMHS, looking after the mental health of young people here in Nottingham. I'm also a youth leader in my local church.

My heart is for people to be free. I am deeply empathic and am drawn to ministering to the welfare of others. I am servant-hearted and am always available to chat if anyone needs, to offload, receive prayer and support.

Stephen Hackney

Spiritual Oveseer

I'm Stephen and I am providing spiritual oversight for Gather the Prophets, offering guidance for the ministry as it develops. Having led Hope Church in Nottingham for 30 years I am committed to the role of the local church in both discipleship and transformation and passionate that all spiritual progression is both founded in and overseen by a local, vibrant Christian community.

I am passionate to see Christians grow in faith, confidence, wisdom. In my role I look forward to supporting Gather the Prophets in the development of this ministry and its vision for believers to hear the voice of God for their lives. We live in times when many voices can be heard, but it's the voice of God the Father that we all need to hear and I look forward to bringing a level of oversight to a ministry that is helping people achieve that goal.
